Berowra Waters Inn re-opened on 12th October for business under the reign of Tony Bilson

The Berowra Waters Inn is one of Sydney’s best dining experiences offering a degustation menu for lunch and dinner, Friday to Sunday.

This Sydney restaurant, located at Berowra Waters and accessible only by water was acclaimed as Australia’s first truly great gastronomic dining experience under the care of its founder Gay Bilson until it closed in 1995. In 2007 Dietmar Sawyere, multi award winning chef and restauranteur, took over the lease on the property and had diners flocking to his restaurant. Now the Berowra Waters Inn will be run under Tony Bilson as a consultant.

The restaurant has no access by land and guests are ferried across the river by the restaurants boat or the more adventurous arrive by their own vessel, sea plane or water taxi. Guests staying on the river can arrange for the restaurant boat to pick them up from their property.

The dress code is smart casual and in summer it can get particularly warm in the evening and as they are in the bush, insects can be a problem so long sleeve light clothing is recommended. Online booking and further information.
